1.What is the cause of the broken output shaft?

The fracture reason of BMS/OMS series motor output shaft is load carrying capacity, excessive torque or radial force. In case of shaft breakage, it is recommended to replace the thicker output shaft or larger motor.

2.What is the cause of the broken transmission shaft?

The transmission shaft is a shaft connecting the orbital wheel and the output shaft. Its function is to transfer the rotation of the orbital wheel to the output shaft. When the motor is in overload operation for a long time, or the output shaft is subjected to an external force in the opposite direction, the transmission shaft may be broken. The broken transmission shaft is usually accompanied by the bite off for teeth of the output shaft and orbital gear. The solution is to replace the transmission shaft, if other parts are damaged, they should be replaced together.

3.What is the cause of the broken shaft stop?

The shaft stop is located on the output shaft to fix the bearing (for all BMS/OMS series motors, 32008  bearings are used). The shaft stop is relatively brittle. When the output shaft is impacted by a longitudinal force, it is easy to cause the shaft stop to be broken, and the debris will cause greater failure, for example the fragments pierce the oil seal, enter the bearing, will cause the bearing to bite and the output shaft to bite. Solution: if the fault is very light, replace the shaft stop, or replace the parts according to the degree of damage.

4.What is the cause of flange fracture?

This fault is also relatively common, which is mainly caused by the impact of the motor or the quality of the casting itself. The solution is to replace the housing.
