Product Overview
ChangJia hydraulic steering units (OSPD series) are dual-displacement steering units designed for smooth, reliable steering of nearly all sizes of mobile equipment. Manufactured with high-quality materials and advanced equipment under strict quality control, these units meet international standards and are supported by Chongqing Changjia’s professional sales and service.
Product Features
- Dual rotary-meter design (dual-displacement) with normal and emergency meters; emergency steering remains possible through the smaller meter if the main pump fails.
- Normal-to-emergency displacement ratio: typically 2:1 up to 7:1.
- Optional built-in valve functions: pressure relief, shock, suction in L+R, check valves in P and LS.
- Low steering torque: 0.8–3.0 Nm.
- High back-pressure capability up to 40 bar (≈580 psi).
- Measured neutral pressure-drop characteristics at 50°C and 21 mm2/s; selectable spool groups and flow ranges (example: OSPC 50 ON with 5–18 l/min) determine pressure-drop curves.
Product Value
The unit improves safety and uptime by providing redundant steering capability during pump failures, reduces operator effort with low torque, and delivers predictable hydraulic performance thanks to selectable spool/flow configurations. Quality manufacturing and eco-efficiency practices add long-term reliability and compliance benefits.
Product Advantages
- True redundancy: dual rotary meters often eliminate the need for a separate emergency steering pump.
- Integrated valve functions reduce system complexity and external components.
- Robust performance under high back pressures and low torque requirements.
- Flexible hydraulic tuning via spool/flow options.
- Backed by strict QC, international standard compliance, and professional supplier support.
Application Scenarios
Ideal for heavy and mobile machinery where reliable steering is critical: construction equipment (loaders, excavators), agricultural tractors, forestry and mining machines, material-handling vehicles (telehandlers, forklifts), commercial trucks and buses, and marine or industrial hydraulic-steering systems requiring redundancy and low steering effort.
