Types DBT and DBWT remote control pressure valves are pilot operated pressure relief valves.
Type DBT is apply to remote control the pressure of system.
Type DBT:
Type DBT consist mainly of the main valve (1), main spool (2), valve seat (3), and adjustment (6).
The pressure of system acts on the spool(2) via orifice. If the pressure exceeds the valve set at the spring, the pressure fluid drain to tank from port T(or drain external).
Type DBWT:
Type DBWT consist mainly of the main valve (1), main spool (2), valve seat (3), electrically operated valve (5), and adjustment (6).
Type DBWT is apply to remote control the pressure of system and drain by actuating the electrically operated valve.
Remote control function (when using the remote control port):
This is the key function of DBT/DBWT valve. Connect remote control port Y to a remote pressure regulating valve.
At this point, the pressure in the upper chamber of the main valve core is no longer controlled by its own pilot valve, but by the set pressure of the remote pressure regulating valve.
The remote pressure regulating valve is actually a direct acting relief valve that sets a lower control pressure than the main valve pilot valve.
When the system pressure P reaches the set pressure of the remote pressure regulating valve, the remote pressure regulating valve opens first and the oil flows out from port Y. Similarly, this will create a pressure drop on the damping hole, causing the main valve core to open.
Final result: The overflow pressure of the main valve is determined by the set pressure of the remote pressure regulating valve, rather than the set pressure of its own handwheel.
Important features:
The set pressure of the remote pressure regulating valve must be lower than the set pressure of the pilot valve of the main valve itself. Otherwise, the remote control function will fail and the system pressure will be limited by the higher set pressure of the main valve itself.
Through the remote control port, advanced functions such as remote adjustment (installing the pressure regulating valve in a convenient location for operation) and multi-stage pressure control (switching different remote pressure regulating valves through an electromagnetic directional valve) can be achieved.
